afterhours.fun exists to help real, verified adults make genuine connections near them. These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from everyone who uses the Service, and what kinds of posts, messages, and behavior are not allowed. They work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Breaking these guidelines can result in content removal, suspension, or a permanent ban, and where appropriate, a report to law enforcement.
Almost everyone uses afterhours.fun without ever running into trouble. Keep things honest, stick to the rules below, and don't try to game the system, and you'll have a good experience. Just keep in mind that the people here are strangers you met online, so use your judgment, look out for yourself, and never hand money or financial details to anyone.
Represent yourself truthfully and finish verification for real. Don't pose as someone else, misstate your age or gender, borrow another person's photos, or spin up fake, AI-generated, or extra accounts. Every member gets one genuine identity.
We maintain an absolute, no-exceptions ban on anything involving - or that could reasonably be read as involving - minors. You must be 18 or older (or older still, where your local age of majority is higher) to use the Service. Don't post anything that shows or sexualizes a minor, and cut off contact immediately with anyone you suspect may be underage.
That ban extends to make-believe and role-play built around minors - age-play, "barely legal" framing, family-style age-gap fantasies, and anything similar - even between consenting adults. Because there is no reliable way to judge intent in these cases, none of it is allowed in any form. We remove the content, ban the account, and refer serious cases to the authorities. See our Anti-Human Trafficking & Sexual Exploitation Policy.
afterhours.fun is not a marketplace, and it is not for sex work. Escorting, prostitution, and any paid sexual service are off-limits. That goes well beyond literally naming a price: hinting at payment, leaning on coded language, lining up a paid arrangement for later, or otherwise working around this rule will get you banned. Offering or seeking "sugar" arrangements, financial domination, or paid companionship is likewise prohibited.
Posts offering "massage," "bodywork," "therapeutic" services, or services of any kind are not permitted, since there is no dependable way to tell what is actually being offered.
Don't use the Service to sell products, gigs, subscriptions, or anything else, and don't funnel people toward your social profiles, paywalled or "exclusive" content accounts, or outside links. Accounts that keep advertising or spamming will be suspended.
Buying, selling, or distributing illegal drugs through the Service is not allowed - and that includes poppers.
Anything violent, coercive, abusive, cruel, harassing, or hateful toward another person - or toward yourself - is unwelcome. That covers threats, stalking, doxxing, slurs, and content that puts people down based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
afterhours.fun isn't a dedicated kink space, so a moderator who isn't part of the scene will read your post the way an average person would. Mentioning that you're into a particular dynamic, or that you're experienced, is perfectly fine. What won't fly is anything that reads as genuinely violent, non-consensual, or degrading - whether you're describing doing it to someone or wanting it done to you - because we can't confirm from text alone that it's safe and consensual. Extreme material and repeat violations can lead to a ban, and if that feels too limiting, we're probably not the right community for you.
Incest-themed content of any kind, role-play included, is not permitted.
Sexual content involving animals, and any form of animal cruelty, is banned, and we will report it.
Treat people the way you'd want to be treated. Ask before sending explicit material, and back off the moment someone asks you to. Posting, or threatening to post, someone's intimate images without their permission ("revenge porn") is never okay.
Keep contact details - your home address, phone number, email, and messaging handles like KIK - out of your public posts. Don't expose anyone else's private or identifying information without their consent, and don't capture or repost private messages to shame or out a person.
Stick to a single account per person. Don't flood the boards, either - reposting the same or nearly identical content over and over reads as spam and can get your account removed.
Where a section is meant for a specific area, only post if you're actually there. Posting outside your area, or blasting the same post across several cities at once, will likely get it pulled or your account banned.
Please don't make posts that "call out" or warn people about specific users or ads. We can't verify those claims from a single post, and they can cross into defamation, so we'll take them down. If you have a problem with a user or a post, report it to us instead (see below).
Role-play is welcome, as long as none of it crosses a line in these guidelines - anything touching minors or incest, for example, is still off-limits.
Post titles can appear in shared areas that anyone can see without logging in, so please keep titles reasonably clean. You have more room in the body of a post. We may reject a title that's especially graphic, but on its own that usually won't cost you your account.
Don't post or request anything else that breaks the law, including child sexual abuse material ("CSAM"), content that encourages violence or self-harm, fraud, extortion or blackmail, or the sale of other illegal goods or services.
Spot something that breaks these rules? Flag it through our support page or our Content Removal & Complaints process. Depending on what happened, we may take down content, issue a warning, restrict features, or suspend or permanently close an account, at our discretion. We preserve evidence and work with law enforcement when it's warranted.
Go at your own pace, meet someone new in a public place first, let a friend know your plans, and listen to your instincts. Be extra careful with anyone who steers the conversation toward money - online scams are everywhere, so don't send funds or share financial details with people you meet here. We don't run background checks, and verification only confirms that an account is tied to a real person; it says nothing about that person's character or intentions.
Members of law enforcement seeking records, submitting legal process, or making an emergency disclosure request may contact us at [email protected]. See the "Information for Law Enforcement" section of our Anti-Human Trafficking & Sexual Exploitation Policy for details.
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted, so please check back periodically.
